Warranty conditions

  1. Scope of Warranty and Exclusions

    We grant a manufacturer’s warranty on our products – unless otherwise stated below – for a period of

    • seven years if the respective product is registered online within 12 weeks of the purchase date,
    • two years if no online registration or no timely online registration is made.

    Warranty claims only exist if the product shows no damage or signs of wear caused by use that deviates from normal intended use or manufacturer’s instructions, and if there are no signs of repairs or interventions by unauthorised service centres. Damage caused by leaking batteries is not considered a warranty case. In such cases, please contact the respective battery manufacturer.

    The warranty service consists exclusively of replacement or repair of the product. Further claims – particularly claims for damages – are excluded from the warranty. A warranty service does not extend or renew the warranty period.

    UK warranty claims are handled in the United Kingdom by Luceo Lighting Ltd. Please contact us first using the service form on this page so that we have all the relevant information, and we will confirm the next steps before you return anything.

  4. Legal Warranty

    This manufacturer’s warranty exists in addition to your statutory rights against the seller under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Statutory claims must be asserted directly with the seller, and exercising those rights is free of charge.

  5. Costs

    Our warranty services – replacement or repair – are free of charge.

    If it turns out upon inspection that there is no defect or no warranty claim exists, we reserve the right to charge a service fee of £24.99. This does not apply if you could not have been aware, under the circumstances, that there was no warranty issue. You are of course entitled to prove that no damage, or significantly lower damage, has occurred.

  6. Miscellaneous

    This warranty is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any differing or additional assurances given at the time of purchase remain unaffected.
